The Exceed ABT (Advanced Bearing Technology) Acetabular System from Biomet is an uncemented acetabular system applicable to both primary and revision hip implantations. Bearing choices include C2A-Delta Ceramic, M2A Series (metal) and E1 Anti-oxidant Infused polyethylene, which includes a number of large diameter bearing choices.
The shell has removable dome plugs allowing access to screw fixation holes if desired.
The ABT Taperfit (with or without a 15 degree augment) has an internal morse taper for ceramic, metal backed E1 or the M2A metal liner. The ABT Ringloc-X is suitable for E1 liners.
The bone contact surface is a closed pore plamsa sprayed porous coating with additional HA coating if required.
