Description

From Which Medical Device

CONTOUR Acetabular Rings are titanium rings designed for the protection of acetabular bone graft in revision hip surgery. The ring provides a stable base for a cemented socket and is indicated in large cavitary defects, medial wall defects, segmental defects involving the anterior or posterior wall and pelvic discontinuity. The rings are manufactured from titanium, range in size from 44 to 68mm and come as a reinforcement ring or a reconstruction ring with three flanges. There is a cement buttress to support the cemented socket.
