The PROFIX Total Knee System from Smith and Nephew is a well-established system with long term results. It is available in cemented and cementless (Hydroxylapatite on porous coating) variants. The FLEXCR insert is intended to accommodate up to 155 degrees of flexion with reduced impingement. The MIS cutting block allow all 5 femoral cuts to be referenced from a single block.
NB The PROFIX Total Knee System is not available in the United States.
In the 9th England and Wales NJR report, the Profix knee demonstrated a 2.48% 7 year survivorship (1.96% to 3.14%), which was in the middle of the range.
