Description

From Which Medical Device

The device has a mobile polyethylene liner which is locked onto a femoral head that articules in a metallic acetabular shell. According to Smith & Nephew, the system was designed for patients, in primary and revision cases, who are susceptible to dislocation and therefore in need of greater stability.
