According to the manufacturer, the Selexys Dual System provides a patient with a greater range of movement than many other hip systems, as well as joint stability. They say that it is therefore suitable for treating patients with profound instability and where diseased profiles place a patient at risk from dislocation.
There are 3 types of cup available - uncemented, cemented and a revision cup.
