The TruMatch™ Personalised Solution knee replacement system is Depuy’s customised jig for Sigma primary knee replacements. As with other customised jig systems, preoperative CT data are used to plan the final position of the implant. The CT data are sent to Depuy, and a recommendation made about implant positioning based on surgeon preferences, which the surgeon can review on an online portal. The jigs are made from a polymer with metal sleeves for pin insertion and for the saw guide. The system uses standard concepts of mechanical alignment for planning. The femoral jig has a slot for distal femoral resection and holes for the pins of the standard distal femoral cutting jig. The tibial block aligns the proximal tibial cut. The jigs come premarked with unique patient identifiers.
