This pseudoaneurysm occured in the mid splenic artery in a patient with chronic pancreatitis.
The presence of a cystogastric stent to decompress the pseudocyst led to the presentation with major intermittent haematemesis.
We chose to use a Viabahn to preserve the splenic artery. An alternative would have been to exclude the pseudoaneurysm by occluding the artery across/either side of ther neck.
