From Which Medical Device
The Souter-Strathclyde Elbow Replacement is a non-constrained elbow replacement with a relatively short humeral component compared to other designs, although a long stem component is available. The elbow was manufactured by Howmedica and had a reported 12 year survivorship of 87% in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (1). The implant is no longer available.
