This latest covered balloon expandable stent from Gore is an interesting design with independent stainless steel rings said to make it more flexible.
The semi compliant balloon allows variation in stent size with inflation pressure.
Balloon mounting will of course allow accurate placement.
The stent has a large range of sizes from 5mm to 11mm, but the largest size can be oversized to 13mm and even 16mm off IFU.
It is available in lengths from 15 to 79mm and 80cm to 135cm delivery systems.
It can be inserted through 7 and 8F sheaths over a 0.035" wire.
