From Platform-14
Platform-14's Drug eluting balloons are designed for Below The Knee (BTK), and are claimed to have a highly stable coating. The company say it will not come off onto your glove, or in flakes or chunks in the vessel.
You can deliver it through 4F sheaths and The Rx versions are great for pedal access. Platform-14's balloons are used and approved for Neuro interventions. Two versions are available for un-paralled sizing options: OTW .018 and RX .014
Tips from the manufacturer:
When using long balloons open up each lesion using pre dilation. Long narrow 200-250mm balloons need less viscosity so if possible cut down on the contrast amount/saline mix. Use the DEB last, Remember you only have to inflate our balloon for 30 seconds!
