Acetabular components - cemented
From Which Medical Device
The Elite Plus Ogee Cup from Depuy is a UHMWPE cemented acetabular component for primary or revision hip arthroplasty.
In the 2011 National Joint Registry report, the socket had an ODEP 10A rating, and was implanted in 13% of all registered primary hip replacements. When used with the Charnley Cemented Stem, the all-cause risk of revision at 7 years was 2.38% (1.98 to 2.88%) in that report.
