The Acclaim™ Total Elbow System from Depuy-Synthes is a modular system which allows surgeons to select a constrained or unconstrained joint depending on clinical requirements because of an interchangeable bearing system. The modularity of the system may also assist revision surgery. The linked option is usually performed where bone stock or soft tissues are deficient.
Flanges in the humeral component allow locking into the supracondylar bone. The components are designed for cemented fixation.
