According to the manufacturer, the Sterling Balloon Dilatation Catheter is designed for percutaneous transluminal angioplasty in the peripheral vasculature, including iliac, femoral, ilio-femoral, popliteal, renal, and carotid arteries, and for the treatment of obstructive lesions of native or synthetic arteriovenous dialysis fistulae.
This device is also indicated for post-dilatation of balloon expandable and self-expanding stents in the peripheral vasculature.
Balloon diameters of 3mm-8mm, balloon lengths of 10mm-100mm and three shaft lengths of 40cm, 80cm and 135cm.
