Ureteric stents
From Which Medical Device
This ureteric stent from Boston Scientific is designed with high retention coil strength to help maintain pigtail shape and prevent stent migration. It has a high ID/OD ratio and larger inner lumen to facilitate drainage and patency. A biocompatible material is designed for up to a 365-day indwelling time.
The Percuflex has a tapered, firm tip with a smooth surface designed for ease of introduction. It has a bladder marker to confirm placement and is radiopaque for improved visualisation. The device is available in multiple sizes in 4.8F – 8F with lengths ranging from 20–30 cm.
