The Lumax 740 ICD device series from Biotronik is designed for the treatment of patients with arrhythmias and heart failure. The Lumax 740 portfolio consists of 4 devices:

  • Lumax 740 VR-T - single chamber device
  • Lumax 740 VR-T DX - single chamber device with atrial diagnostics
  • Lumax 740 DR-T - dual chamber device
  • Lumax 740 HF-T - triple chamber device

All feature Biotronik ProMRI technology, certifying the device safe to undergo MRI scans within certain conditions.

February 2013: Device approved by the FDA.
