The Aequalis Reversed Fracture Shoulder Prosthesis is a reverse shoulder device intended for use after proximal humeral fracture where greater tuberosity healing is unpredictable and therefore rotator cuff function may be compromised.
The prosthesis has a low profile metaphyseal component with hydroxyapatite coating and a grafting window. There is a selection of glenoid and polyethylene inserts, and the device can be converted to a hemiarthroplasty without stem revision if glenoid bone stock is insufficient.
