The rHead Lateral Radial Head System is a side-loading radial head prosthesis intended to facilitate minimally invasive implantation. It is indicated for arthritis of the lateral compartment or fracture. The implant is manufactured from titanium and the stem is plasma sprayed to promote ingrowth. However, cement can be used. It can be used with an UHMWP head to articulate with the UNI-elbow Radio Capitellum System.
An extended stem variant , the rHead Extended Stem is also available.
