This dual source scanner is one of Siemens most popular scanners.

Rapic scan times and low doses along with the now 'standard' iterative reconstruction alogorithms yield great quality scans.

This scanner has a scan time of 0.6 seconds and temporal resolution of 75ms making cardiac scanning possible without beta blockers.

'Flash spiral' scanning mode allows a table feed of 458mm/sec making paediatric scanning without sedation possible.
