From Which Medical Device
A 4 Fr pulse spray thrombolysis system for pharmaco-mechanical thrombolysis.
All the required components (a catheter, tip occlusion wire and variable volume hand trigger for pulse spray injection) are in a single package. The catheter length varies from 45cm (e.g. for dilaysis fistulas) to 135cm. There are variable infusion lengths up to 20cm. The volume injected with each pull of the sprung pistol grip trigger can be varied using a dial up to 1 ml.
A cost-effective device is useful for situations requiring accelerated thrombolysis including life-threatening pulmonary embolism.
