Infusion catheters
From Which Medical Device
This slitted catheter is specifically designed for catheter directed thrombolysis.
The patented slits are said to allow a more even distribution of thrombolytic compared with conventional side hole catheters used in thrombolysis. They also claim that slits rather than holes give a stronger catheter with more pushability.
There are 4F and 5F versions with infusion hole patterns from 2cm to 50cm.
