The Outflow™ Locking Drainage Catheter from Galt Medical is indicated for the drainage of abscesses and fluid collections. It comprises a kink resistant catheter, stiff enough for insertion but soft enough for patient comfort. The catheter has a Lubricity Plus hydrophilic coating, 1cm markings and an easy, secure locking mechanism. The 6Fr catheter accepts a 0.035" guidewire and a variety of kit configurations are available. Catheters are either 25 or 30cm in length and have a pigtail catheter tip.
