Description

From Which Medical Device

The LP-ESP disc prosthesis is composed of two titanium plates with a polycarbonate urethane in which there is a silicone core loaded with compressible beads. The titanium end plates have raised teeth and a porous, rough hydroxyapatite coating. The elastomer core is manufactured from DSM Biomedical's Bionate PCU. The device received a CE mark in 2006.

The device is distributed by Supra Medical in the UK.
