The coflex™ interlaminar stabilization device is a unique device intended to supplement spinal decompression where stabilisation is required. The device sits between the spinous processes of the relevant lumbar vertebrae and helps to offload the facet joints whilst preserving normal motion. Preservation of movement likely leads to a lower risk of surgery on the adjacent segments over time.
