From Which Medical Device
The TomoFix Medial High Tibial Plate is one of a system of plates which includes the TomoFix Lateral Proximal tibial plate, and medial and lateral distal femoral plates.
Key to the TomoFix technique is the placement of a lag screw in the plate which pre-tensions the lateral cortex.
The medial high tibial plate is indicated for opening or closing wedge osteotomies of the medial proximal tibia for arthritis associated with malalignment, or posttraumatic deformity.
A TomoFix surgical technique guide can be found here.
