The PolarCath Peripheral Dilatation Device from Boston Scientific is designed for use in cryotherapy procedures for the treatment of obstructive lesions of PTFE access grafts or native arteriovenous dialysis fistulae, as well as in the peripheral vasculature (iliac, femoral, popliteal, infrapopliteal, renal and subclavian arteries). The PolarCath device can be used with a range of 0.014" and 0.035" catheters, up to 100mm in length, to deliver a combination of cold therapy and angioplasty across a range of clinical indications.
