The Elektra prosthesis is a device for the treatment of trapeziometacarpal osteoarthritis. The bearing is metal on metal, the device is uncemented and it is indicated for both rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. The socket comes in cobalt chrome and a bi-material (CoCr/TA6V).
