Anastomosys Leakage Protective Ileostomy
The Temporary Percutaneous Ileostomy (TPI) with ALPItube has been shown to be safe and improves the patient’s quality of life. ALPItube also is cost effective by reducing the costs associated with traditional surgery.
In colorectal anastomoses, the ileostomy package on the percutaneous probe designed for this purpose (TPI) avoids the need for surgery and a further operation to close it.
